This position is primarily based in a customer location or will require regular travel to and from one or more customer sites to perform the essential functions of the position.
Position Summary:
The Junior Field Service Specialist is the Maintenance Engineering focal point and is responsible for providing maintenance recommendations and technical assistance to both internal and external Line Maintenance teams on the Thales IFEC System, as it relates to operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
The candidate serves as a technical interface between the customer and Thales' regional or central organization.
They will contribute to the continuous improvement process of the central organization by sharing and implementing maintenance best practices and providing feedback on tools and activities.
The Junior Field Service Specialist may be exposed to more than one Thales IFEC system and must learn to support a wide variety of systems installed on common commercial jetliners.
The candidate must be a self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision, even in less-than-optimal working environments.

The reference Total Target Compensation(TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between
Total Target Cash (TTC): 51,049.00 - 69,463.00 - 100,246.00 CAD AnnualThis reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including – but not limited to – the employee's career path history, competencies, skills, and performance, as well as the company's annual salary budget, the customer's program requirements, and the company's internal equity.
