Product Owner HSM (Project Management)
This is for a hybrid role in Ottawa, ON Canada.
Position Summary
Luna HSMs (Hardware Security Modules) are the world's leading HSMs, protecting identities, data and transactions for the world's largest companies and governments. As the Luna HSM Product Owner (PO), you will work closely with the Luna HSM Market Owner (MO). Together you will be responsible for the management of the product development process at all stages of the product life cycle. You will be responsible for grooming the Luna HSM product backlog. As the Product Owner, must be able to convey clearly to the engineering team: market requirements, market trends and the Luna HSM vision, all in the context of the Luna portfolio strategy.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Incorporate feature requests from the MO and customers into the product backlog
• Groom and prioritize backlog
• Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria
• Set IP iteration goals
• Write behavioral acceptance tests
• Plan releases and upgrades together with MO
• Support MO in Roadmap prioritization and grooming
• Follow progress of work and address production issues during IP Iterations
• Analyze preferences and requests of end users
• Conduct retrospectives with the engineering team to refine the SAFe methodology and practices and continually improve productivity
• Translate Client Services customer feedback into enhancements and bug fixes
• Keep track of industry trends
• Validate and interpret MO owner requirements to the engineering team
• As the PO you will be the primary contact representing the engineering team to the MO, customers and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring that developed solutions align with the needs of target product teams and their engineering groups
• Managing issues that affect the product success and end-customer satisfaction
• Maintaining information on competitive offerings to be able to identify how to deliver a clearly differentiated product, and communicate the superior value of Luna HSMs.
Basic Qualifications
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• Familiarity with SAFe agile development framework
• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
• Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
• Team spirit and good communication abilities
• Good organizational skills
• 8+ years' experience interfacing with customers
• Experience with a focus on hardware security modules and cryptographic service products being a particular advantage
• Experience in leading major product re-platforming and technology stack upgrades
Other experience that is preferred including,
Degree in one or more of the following:
• Computer engineering
Desired certifications:
• SAFe Scaled Agile Framework
• To be physically co-located with the engineering team to enable timely decisions and process efficiencies
Special Position Requirements
Travel: Occasional international travel required to work with the PLM team, customers and partners. up to 10%

Total Target Cash (TTC): 112,138.02 - 149,517.36 - 193,720.96 CAD AnnualThis reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many.
