Head Caretaker (Finance)
Sask DLC requires a temporary, part-time, Head Caretaker within the Corporate Services Division. Hours of work will be 15 hours per week. The position will commence on May 26, 2025 and will be based out of our Kenaston Campus.
Sask DLC is a Treasury Board Crown Corporation, created to deliver high-quality and equitable online learning programs to students across the province. Sask DLC's head office is located in Kenaston, with an administrative office in Regina, and regional campuses located in Estevan, Kenaston, La Ronge, Moose Jaw, Neilburg, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current and Yorkton.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Facilities you will work independently 3 hours per day, 5 days per week, to ensure the maintenance and security of the Kenaston Campus.
Duties
- Carrying out cleaning duties, such as the emptying of litterbins, cleaning external steps, paving, ramps and general external access routes
- Cleaning internal areas as required including checking on toilet facilities and cleaning; vacuuming all floor areas in office and open spaces; ensuring windows are cleaned on a regular basis
- Performing simple repairs and maintenance tasks
- Performing security checks for the building
Skills
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and report maintenance issues accurately and in a timely fashion
- Knowledge of cleaning materials and job-related tools
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety protocols within a work environment

Salary (Level 3 $22.40/hr. to $24.95/hr.) and benefits for this position will be in accordance with C.U.P.E. 5544 Collective Agreement September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2027.
