Customer and Demand Leader - Mars Food & Nutrition (Finance)



Job Description:

The Customer and Demand Leader partners across One Demand to deliver on the Canadian business priorities. This includes cross-functional partnership with Category Leadership, Customer Marketing, SRM and Brand. Supported by the cross-functional One Demand team, this role provides thought leadership and enables demand generation in partnership with Category, optimizing portfolio performance, enhancing brand visibility, and strengthening partner relationships.

This position plays a critical role in developing and executing the Mars Food and Nutrition Canadian market strategy, ensuring value creation and business growth. Additionally, the Customer and Demand Lead owns the Digital and Omni strategy and roadmap, overseeing both strategic and tactical execution to achieve financial targets and deliver strong P&L performance.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in blue chip FMCG/consumer products with a strong Sales and Marketing background (Sales Strategy, Digital/Omni Channel, and/or Traditional experience).
  • Significant and diverse experience across the Demand function and demonstrated ability to develop strong and impactful internal and external relationships and influence customers of all sizes.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing visions and strategies with the ability to inspire and lead a multi-functional team/matrix organization to deliver business results consistently.
  • Ability to navigate complex situations and challenge the status quo with a can do/solution based attitude.
  • Self-reliant, decisive and resilient and able to respond and adapt to a fast moving, changing environment.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Partner with GM to deliver on Canada's strategic priorities and execution against Canada 123 plan.
  • Establish strong partnership across One Demand to support executing category leadership and customer marketing with excellence.
  • Play a pivotal role in the PMR (Step 1) in the S&OP+ process.
  • Full ownership of Tasty Bite P&L in Canada.
  • Deliver on the Tasty Bite brand expansion plan in Canada and develop a successful and sustainable strategic operating plan that drives sustainable acceleration of the Tasty Bite portfolio.
  • Create and implement the Digital & Omni Channel strategy and roadmap for the Canadian market, ensuring alignment with quality growth objectives and SCM ambitions to drive business success.
  • Create a strategic product roadmap for digital demand, prioritizing initiatives based on KPI impact and evolving consumer needs to drive growth and innovation.
